Here we are, well, let's start from the beginning ... I was born in Rovereto, Trentino, on May 19th, xxxx ...

I know, I know, normally a biography is written in third person by someone in charge of public relations and sounds a bit pompous but I, in all honesty, do not like that style at all ... I want those who follow me, who love me , who hate me (there are also some of those), and in general those who seek me, to know the real Barbara and so, pen and paper in hand, I'm here for you, ready?
Here we are, well, let's start from the beginning ... I was born in Rovereto, Trentino, on May 19th, xxxx, under the sign of Taurus, ascendant Scorpio. Ok ok, 1982, thirty years old but if it is true that men do not grow old but become fascinating I hope this is also true for me :).
ID card says I have brown hair and green eyes, and under the "special signs" tag there are four lines, which goes to say "none", but in reality I have several of those characteristic signs ... I think in fact of my incurable stubbornness, my innate determination, and my curiosity .... in fact, let's stop here for a moment.
Curiosity was actually what tipped the balance towards the linguistic high school first, and the degree course in "languages for business and tourism" at the University of Trento then, instead of the Law Faculty (but never say never, maybe one day I will turn to reading law, who knows) ... Foreign languages as a learning course also because, going back to what was said above, I love to travel, meet new cultures and face distant worlds, and understanding each other with smoke signals or with drawings is not so advisable. I take another step back to when I spoke of my characteristics, I can absolutely confirm what everyone says, that I am determined and stubborn, and I thank God for this, without these traits of my character I do not think I would have been able to cope with all the difficulties that life presented me and even less so to hold on in my job, which no matter how beautiful it may be also has some sides which I would qualify as "difficult to take in". And I am also a solar person, I love being in the midst of many people at least as much as I love to be on my own, I like small gestures, little things and real people ... but I think (and hope) that this side of my personality shines through in all the things I do.
I have many passions, first of all, undoubtedly the one for sport, both done and watched, especially for activities in close contact with nature. As a little girl I approached artistic dance and volleyball (which I quickly quit in both cases), swimming which I still love and, going on, lots of other sports disciplines such as cycling, athletics, climbing, snowboarding, skiing and surfing ... well, it can be described as a love for sport at 360 degrees.
There are also other passions such as those for good food (I love cooking), music of all kinds depending on the mood, and reading ...
Over the years many things have changed for better or worse, but luckily some remained the same, among them the attachment to my country, my family, and the values which my parents and grandparents have taught me, the will to be able to make dreams come true without using shortcuts. Well, between the beautiful things that have not changed is certainly my attachment to the two wheels, maybe because I used to spend entire days in the midst of so many male cousins, maybe since I am convinced that my father wanted a son and instead I came along etc. etc... the fact is that I grew up around bicycle, motorcycle and other races and still today, at every race of the motorcycle world championship, at a “classic” or major sporting event (if I am not working) I still find myself jumping on the couch with the legendary Antonio (my dad) for a sprint, a photo-finish, a drift or a thrill... This then is perhaps the most appropriate moment to complete the family picture and also introduce the other members of the family: my mother Giovanna, my sister Laura and my two "dog-babies" Poppy and Pepe.
Telling and telling, in the end I wrote a lot such is the desire to let you know something more about me ... and so I will stop here ...
A big hug to all of you and, if you want to find out something more about me, I am sure that between one event or another, or through social networks, there will certainly be many occasions ...
See you soon,
Barbara.
